About Us

2eden studio’s British born Principal Designer and Founder, Debra Leith brings more than 15 years experience in creating and reimagining landscape, exterior and interior designs.  A Certified Advanced Professional Landscape Designer with Landscape Architecture credits from UCLA, Debra is also a UCCE Master Gardener and school gardens consultant.

Debra's husband, Daren is an Art School graduate in Industrial Design with 30 years consumer product design experience. A partner in 2eden studio, Daren is also co-founder of Rise Design & Innovation, a creative industrial design studio based in LA.

In the wider team, their greatest creative collaborations by far, three crazy boys (now 21, 18 & 16!) and adopted canine kids/studio dogs, Thor: Dog of Thunder & Lady Sansa of Winterfell.

Outside of the studio, Debra is a published children's author, organic home grower and loves to cook and work on her own home. She is also a school garden specialist and has been teaching children to garden for more than 20 years. Daren is a keen endurance mountain and gravel biker and is especially fond of cycling in the local Santa Monica mountains.

Through 2eden studio, Debra & Daren have transformed the lives, landscapes and homes of more than a hundred property owners in California and the UK, including complete renovation of several of their own fixer upper homes in England and Los Angeles. Many of their designs have also been featured on HGTV and A&E where, the team are seasoned Design Producers/Design Consultants on several hit TV shows.

2eden studio also owns and operates 2eden school gardens, delivering groundbreaking learning and life skills opportunities for children (preschool - 8th grade) through the provision of curriculum linked plant science and organic garden programs and mentoring middle and high school gardening clubs.

2eden design studio is a Member of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers (APLD) and is a recommended Monrovia landscape design professional.
